Off-Highway Vehicle riding located in the southern Sanpitch Mountain range- a low altitude dry area with sage brush, juniper, and pinyon- with some aspen and other conifers at the highest elevations. Great views into the valley's below.
TRAIL ELEVATION: 5,222 - 8,551 ft. TRAIL SEASON: Southern Trails (5,222'-6,194'): April 1 - Nov. 15 Northern Trails (6,195'- 8,551'): May 15 - Oct. 31 TRAIL DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: EASY, open to off-highway vehicles of all widths. A street-legal 4x4 is recommended to access routes via paved highways. Access the trail from the towns of Ephraim, Manti, Sterling, Gunnison, Moroni, Wales, Fayette, and Levan. Nearby State Parks for camping: Palisade State Park and Yuba State Park. |
